Vendor Series - Part IFacilitator - Bernard Spinrad of International Development Advisory Services (IDAS) PAGG, which is a non-profit organization, successfully hosted and completed an informative session facilitated by ESRI distributor, Mr. Bernard Spinrad, of International Development Advisory Services (IDAS), Coral Gables, Florida. IDAS is a firm that distributes software, provides GIS Training, technical support and consultancy services associated with GIS implementation projects. This Firm is also affiliated with various world-leading technology oriented firms including ESRI/Environmental Systems Research Institute, Space Imaging, ERDAS, Global Positioning Systems and Lizard Tech to name a few. The event was attended by members of the Society as well as representatives
from various businesses and agencies including The Royal Bahamas
Police Force, The Department of Statistics, Bahamas National Trust,
BEST Commission, Lands & Surveys, Department of Agriculture,
Physical Planning Department, Building Control Section of the Ministry
of Public Works & Utilities, Ministry of Tourism, Water &
Sewerage Corporation, Bahamas Electricity Corporation, Bahamas Telecommunications
Company, J.S. Johnson Insurance, Architectural Firm, PAHO and the
Bahamas Boy Scout Association .
