Demonstrating, satellite imagery, aerial imagery as well as vector and raster based applications (some on The Bahamas) and both environmental and infrastructure based applications using ESRI ArcView and ERDAS Imagine (image processing software).

Navigational Sciences Inc. is a technology Company which specializes in environmental GIS and remote sensing applications and have done, among other things, extensive work in the marine GIS Industry, navigational charting, slosh modeling, land cover analysis and data integration.

The event was attended by members of the Society as well as representatives from various businesses and agencies including the Ministry of Educations, Department of Meteorology, the Royal Bahamas Police Force, The Department of Statistics, Bahamas National Trust, BEST Commission, Department of Agriculture, Department, Building Control Section of the Ministry of Public Works & Utilities, Water & Sewerage Corporation, Bahamas Electricity Corporation, Bahamas Telecommunications Company, and Architectural Firm.
